- Software and instructions for remotely accessing NCSU computers may be obtained at http://www.eos.ncsu.edu/remoteaccess
- For remote access to campus we recommend using ssh or PuTTY to
connect to remote-linux.eos.ncsu.edu. This is the only Linux remote
access server available on campus. You must make sure that you are connected
to a Linux machine, not a Sun workstation!
- The Sun workstations on campus are running a version of gcc
which is much older than the version required for this course! Do
not use Sun workstations for this course.
