9/2/04: A message board has been created to assist class members in finding and forming pair programming teams for the first programming assignment.
8/23/04: To download VisualAge Smalltalk for your home computer, Go to http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/smalltalk and click on the link that says, "Trials and Betas". Download VA Smalltalk version 6.0.2 that is appropriate for your OS. This version has "nag" messages when you first start up an image, but it will never time out. Install the client and manager, but not the server. No keys are required. Everything works as in a fully-purchased version.
