8/17/05: A variety of good IBM Smalltalk documentation is available here.

8/17/05: To download VisualAge Smalltalk for your home computer, Go to http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/smalltalk and click on the link that says, "Trials and Betas". Download VA Smalltalk version 6.0.2 that is appropriate for your OS. This version has "nag" messages when you first start up an image, but it will never time out. Install the client and manager, but not the server. No keys are required. Everything works as in a fully-purchased version.

8/17/05: So that I can communicate with you about the course, please make sure that TRACS has your preferred e-mail address! Go to the Registration and Records homepage, then choose Pack Tracks. Log in. Then on the next screen, go to the Personal Info column, & click on "Email address". It will give you a box to enter the address that you want to be on the list.

If you want e-mail to go to your Eos/Unity address, you do not have to do this; that is the default.
