Homework and tests

12/6/99: The "final exam" from last spring is now posted. Note that the exam was given in two parts, Test 3 (Postscript or RTF form), and a Review Test (Postscript or RTF form), and a Review Test).

11/30/99: Grades are posted for on-campus students and for VBEE students. There is no identifying information; if you know how you did on one or two assignments, you should be able to figure out the rest.

9/9/99: Test 1 from last spring is now available, in Postscript or RTF form.

9/3/99: Streaming video of all lectures from this course is available at http://www.engr.ncsu.edu/videocourses/csc517/. Video should be available by sometime between 7 and 10 PM on the day of the lecture. To limit the load on the video server, only students registered for the course may view the video.

9/1/99: Instructions for setting up VisualWorks Noncommercial on your Windows computer are now available.

8/13/99: Class will meet in Studio II of Park Shops (building 33 on the campus map), instead of in Harrelson Hall.

8/13/99: Before coming to class, please print out the lecture notes.

8/13/99: Videotapes of lectures in this class can be viewed at the Media Center of the D. H. Hill Library (building 47 on the campus map). Hours are 8 AM-9 PM Monday through Thursday, 8 AM-6 PM Friday, 9 AM-5 PM Saturday, and 1 PM-9 PM Sunday. Tapes should arrive 24 to 48 hours after each lecture is given.

8/13/99: So that I can communicate with you about the course, please make sure that TRACS has your preferred e-mail address! Go to the Registration and Records homepage, then choose TRACS LINK and then "Email Address" in the left-hand column.

If you want e-mail to go to your Eos/Unity address, you do not have to do this; that is the default.
