Dr. Bob Callaway

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Synopsis

Bob Callaway's research and development interests are in network performance, application layer networking, and distributed systems. His PhD focused on optimizations of service-oriented networks, incorporating a direct link (via multipath network utility maximization) between the explicit costs and benefits of a service and the underlying IT infrastructure required to offer the service.

Dr. Callaway is currently employed at NetApp in the Cloud Solutions Group, focusing on strategy, business development, and architectures that espouse the capabilities of NetApp storage and software into cloud computing environments.
