Dror Baron: Arizona (8.2001)


We visited the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

This view from the north rim shows the wide and deep canyon below. Notice also the marvellous geological layers.

The north rim is quite alpine, in contrast to the south rim, which is much more arid. This view shows the vegetation on the slopes of the northern rim.

We saw this formidable butte (left half of image) from another overlook.

This window is quite massive. I believe that the Colorado river can be seen peeking out of the bottom of the window.
